We seem to have this thread every year, so I might as well get started.

I lost my semi-final matchup today in my money league. Adrian Peterson did well (except didn't score) but Chris Johnson was a major disappointment as was Matt Ryan (had a nice TD reversed due to the guy fumbling the ball away.) I just ran into a brick-wall team that had Steve Slaton, DeAngelo Williams, and Bernard Berrian this week. (I would have won had Williams not had the 56-yard TD run).

It's too bad since my opponent had Brees, Colston, and Hartley on Thursday night and had a paltry (for our league) 57 points out of those three guys with 5 other players to go today.
Just disappointing how some of my players performed in playoff weeks.

It's STILL better than finishing as the #1 seed two years in a row and losing my opening round matchup both times. At least this year I'm still in the money (playing for 20% vs. 10% of the pot next week.)

How about you guys?

I had the same RB combo going today, pitch, in my money league.

It is/was actually a pretty epic battle today - we went back and forth taking the lead. Each team had some disappointments (Me: Roddy White, Chris Johnson; Him: Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall) and some clutch players (Me: David Garrard, Andre Johnson; Him: Kevin Smith, Dallas Clark). We are the two top scoring teams in the league this week, too. It was fun to monitor all day. I currently sit in the lead by 3 points, but he has the Eagles defense tomorrow night against the Browns, so its pretty definitive that I will lose. I believe I have the tiebreaker though, so I'm holding out some hope yet.

Looks like I'm also going to bow out of the playoffs in round 1 of the Contract League.

Two leagues, two #1 seeds, and two championship games next weekend. It's been a good year Image

And sam, don't give up yet...McNabb is just as likely to get negative points as he is to do well. We just might meet again next week.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Some way, some how, my four point lead held up against Eli Manning AND Derrick Ward last night. Unbelievable. Thank you Dallas Defense!

Playing for 3rd place this weekend. Meaning I can just get my money back. I've been in the league 6 years and every year I've either taken 2nd or 3rd but never won. I'm like the Buffalo Bills of FF. However, Norwood didn't miss it wide right this last weekend, I lost by a considerable sum.

at the end of 1 quarter of play, I still have a 9 point lead on my opponent for 3rd place in our money league (he has Jennings, I have Driver). I came into the game with that same 9 point lead so I hope it stays this way or improves. It's a difference of about $45.00 in winnings!

edit: Darn you, Rodgers! The lead is down to 4!

edit2: CRUD! Well, that should do it unless Jennings goes down, too.

edit3: Hooray! He's back, baby, he's back! Now get him the dang ball!

edit4: End of 3 quarters, my lead is up to 5. THROW IT TO DRIVER! JENNINGS CAN GO O-FER THE REST OF THE GAME!

edit5: 3rd place was clinched . . . and then Crosby missed the kick. Bears won the toss, though, so I can still win if they go down and score without the Pack seeing the ball. I'm secretly hoping this comes to pass, but I also want the Packers to win.

editfinal: well, OT came to pass without the Packers seeing the ball, so I win 3rd place and some $77.15. Yee-haw!!!! But BOOOO!!!!!
