I'm a Brady victim in my most important league

This sucks big time for me....My fantasy team is destroyed in my league with my friends with big cash on the line.

Now I'm pleading with two owners so I can get McNabb, Manning, or Warner for Jamal Lewis.

Free Agent Options: Russell or Cassell

What should I do?

Cassell might not be a bad pickup, especially since he would be easy to drop if/when Brady comes back. Don't even think about Russell until you see him play a little tomorrow night.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

McNabb is no longer an option

I could get Brees for Willie Parker but thatd make my RB's weak.

Maybe Aaron Rodgers I could get

otherwise it looks like Cassel

i'm with you T-bone. I picked up Cassel via the WW, my only other options are garcia and jackson. My biggest problem is that I don't have an extra decent rb to trade for an established qb.

I think Garcia would be a great pickup for Brady owners if he's available. He seems to be forgotten, but he doesn't make many mistakes and at least won't lose you points. Plus he'll be getting more healthy receivers back over the next few weeks.

I'm deciding between starting cassel and garcia. I picked Edwards off of waivers when dropping Brady as insurance and I also have Taveres Jackson.

I actually won this week so I'll be in a bad spot with the waiver wire. So I almost doubt Ill get Cassel because some of my friends see my situation and are gonna try to screw me over.

I really think you should stay away from Russell. He looks awful.

I went ahead and picked him up. He didn't look good, but after losing Brady in a 12 team league where teams have 2 quarterbacks and sometimes 3 it is slim pickings. I think O'Sullivan and Orton are the only two starters left. I have Delhomme, Cassel, and Russell. Hopefully I'll get rid of one of the three headed monster in a game or two. I think Delhomme should be fine, but he plays the Bears this week. I think I'll start Cassel and should Russell struggle and I can find a decent waiver wire I'll let Russell go. Maybe I can get lucky? Doubtful, but worth a shot in our league since we have 18 spots per team.

I forgot that I even said that about Russell. I said it early in the game when he actually looked awful, but he didn't look too bad later on. Then again, they were down by 40 points so it wasn't like Denver was putting up much of a fight.

I agree. His fantasy points I think were due to the fact they were getting blown out. I'm just hoping to get lucky with him, but I highly doubt I will...unless they get blown out ever game and keep him in.

Ive decided to go with Trent Edwards over Russell on the waiver wire.

I didn't get Cassel.

It looks as if I'm trading Lewis for Eli right now though.

I think Trent Edwards is a good pickup. I could see him breaking out a little by midseason...well, I hope so anyways cause I've had Lee Evans two years in a row and I'm sick of him sucking in fantasy.

Who's a better pickup: Russell, Edwards, Jackson, Ryan or Pennington?

For any other league, I would say Pennington or Edwards. For our league...definitely Jackson Image

Ha. Its for my other league, and I just found out the guy who grabbed Cassell first violated a waiver rule and he's back on waviers, so second chance there...

Here's my ugly dilemma here... Who do I start this week? Schaub vs Baltimore, Delhomme vs Chicago or recently claimed Damon Huard vs Oakland?

I would say Huard...just a gut feeling. I can't see Delhomme doing much against Chicago and without Steve Smith for another week.

Alright, I have 5 RBs in my league and can only start 2. Reggies Bush, Willie Parker (injured for a few apparently), Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, and Chris Perry. My question is this, I've been offered Payton Manning for Matt Forte and JT O'Sullivan (who I just picked up on a filier this past week). I have Rivers and Hasselback as well. Rivers has been playing well and so has Forte, but to get Manning for basically Forte to me is too good to pass up.

What are your thoughts? 12 person league and the guy I'm trading to doesn't have a strong team at all so this isn't making him much better.
