As much as I ripped apart Carson Palmer in the other thread, I picked him up in my league just in case (I'm 1-5, not much to lose). I normally would be in wait-and-see mode with him, but he's about to go up against KC, and man they are terrible. My normal starter is Josh Freeman, but he's been hit or miss this year and is going up against the Bears, so I'm a bit more worried about it being a miss.

I'm still leaning towards Freeman as the safer play, but again...I'm 1-5 and would need a miracle run to make the playoffs, so I'm kinda thinking "what the hell?" Anyone out there that can convince me to bench Freeman for Palmer?

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Roddy White
Mike Willams (Pitt)
Steve Smith

Thoughts?

Ahmad Bradshaw at home vs Miami or DeMarco Murray at Philadelphia? I'm slightly leaning towards Murray seeing that Brandon Jacobs is likely to play and Dallas now as no one behind Murray.

Trade in a 12 team, non ppr league.

I give
Torain
Hernandez
Jacobs

for

Gore
Jackie Battle
Nate Washington

This is a no brainer, right?

I'd say yes, Gore is starting to have a huge year. Only way you would say no is if you have don't have anything else for TE or anyone available.

Agreed. Just getting rid of the negative karma that is Jacobs could make it worth it.

Pick one:

Carson Palmer against Denver (one of the worse pass defenses in the league)
Josh Freeman against New Orleans (19th in pass defense, but Freeman has been shaky all year)

My other option is Kevin Kolb, but it sounds like he's still in a walking boot and, despite being listed as questionable, probably won't play.

For someone that really ripped the Raiders trade for Palmer, you are really confusing me with your fantasy questions.  Freeman.

Again, look at my options. Just look at what Freeman has done so far this year. A mediocre Palmer against the worst pass defense in the league has a decent chance of scoring more fantasy points. That doesn't mean I think Palmer is the missing Super Bowl piece.

I'd roll with Palmer. He has better receivers and the Broncos are horrible.

Need to play 2:
Nate Washington
Jonathan Baldwin
Stevie Johnson

I'm leaning towards Washington and Baldwin due to the Revis factor, but I hate to bench talent.

Baldwin for sure. The other two is a toss-up, but I think I would go with Johnson.

Johnson is due but I love Murray. I'd keep going with him. Buffalo's defense is weak and that game could be high scoring. He's due for at least one score.

Full disclosure, I own Murray as well.

as a Chris Johnson owner (darn him, anyway!) I'd go with Murray, who at least has had some recent success. The Bills defense is nothing special, either which helps you.

Trying to decide between Ben Tate and Torrey Smith for my flex spot. Any advice?

Here's my team in a PPR, 10 team league:

QB - Roethlisberger
RB - Foster
RB - Murray
RB/WR - Jordy
WR - Calvin
WR - Fitzgerald
WR - Welker
TE - Davis

bench players of note: Antonio Brown, Ben Tate, Mark Ingram

My team is pretty stacked as is (started 0-2 and haven't lost since), but I'm hoping to upgrade at TE before the deadline (tomorrow) because Davis seems to be on the decline. Given my depth at WR, I'm willing to trade any of them other than Calvin (keeper candidate). Trying to keep homerism in mind, is it pretty much common thought that Jordy will be better than Brown the rest of the way (Jordy's a better bet to score TDs, IMO)? I've been offered Witten for Jordy after I offered Brown for Witten. He also has Tony Gonzalez and might be willing to take Brown for Gonzo.

My other option would be to go hard to Gronkowski (Graham has been termed untouchable), but Gronk is scoring like one of three best WIDE RECEIVERS in the game so I'm not sure if Fitz or Jordy would be enough.

Thoughts?

I have to drop one of these players. Addai, Helu, or Felix Jones. I also own McFadden and Demarco Murray (which is why I want to keep Jones as a handcuff).

I'm trying to get my team ready for the playoffs and just picked up Addai as another RB with starting potential because McFadden has been injured for a few weeks. My inclination is to drop Jones or Helu but both have value to me. Helu has the most talent of that backfield and an okay playoff schedule plus we get .5 PPR. I could see him breaking out. Plus this week I need a starter and if Addai is shelved one more week I have to use him. Jones only value is as a handcuff. Even when he was starting he wasn't spectacular. Addai is not flashy but if he plays this week its against the worst run defense in the league. He's almost worth keeping just for this week.

So that's my dilema. I could drop a WR (I would say currently Stevie Johnson is my worst of the 4). I also have Roddy White, Jordy Nelson, Laurent Robinson and Torrey Smith.

I'd drop Helu. Shanahan is a fantasy RB killer.
