49ers should get a good close up of what could have been if they drafted Rodgers instead of Smith.

Smith can't even beat out JT O'Sullivan.

Lets go Aaron, prove some more people wrong.

Hopefully Rodgers can take another step in the right direction of shutting up the haters. Looks like no Grant or Jennings again which stinks.

Unlikely with our offense, but I want Rodgers to connect on one huge play tonight - 60 yard TD pass.

Rodgers + Good Performance = Satisfying.

Rodgers + Good Performance + Excitement = Favre who?

sbrylski06 = Greedy

state TV only so it looks like NFL Network replay for me. Gotta find out when it's being aired so I can record it.

edit: found it. 10:00 AM (my time) so it's noon for you midwesterners. Not like you can't watch it live or anything, of course.

I just hope the worthless FOX affiliate up here shows the game in HD. I get the locally-televised Vikings games in HD, after all.

By the way, the Vikings games are worked by Some Idiot and Mike Mayock. Mayock is brilliant, though he's a little too pro-Viking for my taste (it's his job, after all, but it still bugs).

Seems like the answer to my HD question is a resounding and completely unsurprising "No".

Thanks again, KQDS, for absolutely sucking at putting things on television.

Well, Chillar isn't any better at covering tight ends or tackling them than Poppinga is. Good thing he was cheap.

Guess who's doing the sideline reporting for the Vikings/Ravens game.

Go ahead, guess.

Image

...ANN CARROLL! Consider me mildly surprised she was able to find work, although being a sideline reporter for the Vikings could barely be considered "work"...that's got to be at the bottom of the journalistic totem pole. :-p

Does Gannon always talk over the PBP guy when he's on CBS? Shut up, dude, and let Harlan do his job.

She still works for FSN North. She'll pop up occasionally on a Twins game. They "loan" her out for Vikings games as part of a deal that allows FSN North enough access to do a weekly Vikings show, plus they get to re-run the pre-season games during the week.

She's still absolutely terrible.

Well, Vernon Davis isn't your typical tight end. But I agree that Chillar is struggling mightily with him so far.

Driver really should have caught that long-ish pass.

Thanks, Bruce...I wasn't aware she was still with FSN North, since I get blacked out from all the Minnesota coverage on FSN North with Dish Network.

That was a pretty ugly first offensive series...it's starting to look like the Packers are going to struggle with blitz pick-ups a lot this year.

A couple drops but A-Rod has not looked that good tonight. Its only pre season game number 2 tho.

For anyone keeping track: 2 Rodgers sacks + 1 hurry on an a-typical blitz (CB).

Surprised to see the game broadcast locally in HD here (Wausau); I didn't know they did pre-season games in High-Def.

Now 4 sacks, AND Bigby failed to get deep in coverage and gets burned for a big TD.

Thank God it's just pre-season.
