Im gonna be cheering for San Diego for basically the same reason I cheered for New York.

I think San Diego has a chance if Cromartie has a good game. I say if Merriman and the SD rush get pressure and Cromartie runs one back with his sick skills they have a chance. Also no dumb INTs by Rivers and they need LT to take over. Thats alot to go right.

My predicition though

Chargers 7
New England 38

Good start for the Chargers. They need to play mistake free ball. Good to see they got to Brady and caused him to rush.

You can tell Rivers is really hurting, his mobility is pretty much zero. If the Pats can pressure him, this game won't be pretty.

I didn't realize Rivers normally had a mobility higher than zero.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

This is surprising so far. Brady looks not that good, uncomfortable in the pocket. And the Chargers are getting to him. Keep it up Chargers!

And Chambers is the man.. go Badgers!

I'm shocked that the Patriots are looking vincible today. Could they end up 17-1? Hmm....

This is probably fairly unlikely, but did anyone else see that bud light commercial where the dog keeps saying "sausages" and have flashbacks to an old "Kids in the Hall" skit? "Sausages"?

No, but that made me laugh out loud, because I could see my dog (or any dog, for that matter) saying that, if you could actually hear what a dog was saying. Hate the beer, love the commercial.

Lot of great plays being made from both teams. This is a fun game to watch.

Well, there's a Chargers mistake followed by a quick Pats TD. With Rivers' fragile psyche, dare I say ballgame before even though it's 14-6 before halftime? That's the kind of play that turned the switch for the Pats all year.

Edit: And Rivers follows it with another pick. I'd end the Phil Rivers experiment in this game right now...he's visibly affected by his bum knee and can't generate enough power with his legs to throw the deep ball...like Phil Simms said, he had the wind to his back and still underthrew that ball by 10 yards. Usually that throw isn't a problem for him. Pray you can keep the Pats out of the endzone to end the half and come out after the break with Volek under center.

turnovers . . .turnovers. . . . turnovers.

that and having to settle for 2 field goals when you are inside the Pat's 10 yards line is killing the Bolts

This game has definitely been a lot closer than I expected. I didn't think the Chargers had much of a chance, but they're in it. The field goals vs. TD hurts, and the turnovers hurt as well, along with clock mismanagement here on this drive. They could have hurried a bit more, especially after the review. But there's a chance for them in the 2nd half.

Why would you call your last timeout with 18 seconds left? Stupid.

Lucky for the Chargers they have a kicker like Kaeding to keep them in this thing.

I can't believe Kaeding has done his job thus far. And the score is closer than I thought too. It's almost like the Patriots have played very conservatively. I haven't sensed them going all "jugular" on the Bolts like I expected. That could, perhaps, be a mistake.

CBS has the worst pregame/halftime show I've ever seen. Between not having a clue what Shannon Sharpe is saying and Marino's phone going off 3 times, it couldn't be worse.

Man this Chargers defense has been huge today. Is that 3 or 4 picks now on Brady? Seemed like a dumb decision for Cromartie to run it out, but with his speed, he could've broken one tackle and taken it all the way and completely changed the game. Still a huge pick in the end zone.
