I thought the Packers would cut or trade Adams in the pre-season. And I still wish they had. That guy takes up a LOT of passes for very little offense. He just can't get it done.

I can't believe we didn't run on 3rdAND1, but then did on 4th and 1 with Starks out of the shotgun. I'm stunned on the playcalling. Is this MM or Rodgers?

Burnett is questionable with a hamstring injury. Hopefully, we won't need the defense anymore.

Ugh... I spoke too soon. Rodgers' mistake, but I never get a good feeling when throwing to Adams. He just doesn't do routes well.

My biggest complaint about how MM runs the preseason is that we normally look terrible the first 2-4 games. Its like we spend so little time with the regular starters together at game speed that we look like we are running slow and out of sync for a few games.

Hey, numbers backing up what my eyes were seeing:

I thought the Packers would cut or trade Adams in the pre-season. And I still wish they had. That guy takes up a LOT of passes for very little offense. He just can't get it done.

Another thing that I noticed is that a very high percentage of the passes were to the edges of the field and not the middle. Especially early in the game. I saw one slant route (where Adams didn't get in front of the CB and Rodgers was nearly picked off) and a couple incompletions to Cobb and Nelson. Then later in the game, there were several passes to Cook and Rodgers in the middle (when we were actually moving the ball fairly well).

Seems like Rodgers was forcing it to the WRs too often and throwing to the edge way too often. Getting the TEs in the game seems like a good idea to mix things up. Especially since Cook or Rodgers against a LB is probably our 2nd or 3rd best matchup.

I tried to back this up by finding a chart of Rodger's completions on the field (kind of like the Basketball make/miss charts), but couldn't find anyone with one... Do any of you know where I might find that?
