Tied at 7's near the end of the 1st quarter.

Starting a thread because Adams needed to catch that 3rd down pass -- right on his hands.

The offense looks out of sync so far and the special teams has given them awful field position twice.

I think Adams just made up for that drop from earlier. Great way to end the half, plus they get the ball to start the 3rd quarter.

EDIT: Ha Ha separating receiver from football may be the play of the game.

EDIT2: Finally! A stop on 4th down. Nice team tackling when it really mattered.

1-0

It certainly wasn't pretty. There were a few drives that looked fabulous. And more than a few drives that had me scratching my head.

A win is a win is a win, I guess.

On the road, 100 degrees on the field (Jacksonville used to it, not GB), and Jacksonville is supposed to have a good defense.

Also doesn't help that Rodgers played little and Nelson none in the pre-season.

Thanks for starting the thread bjkrautk, I was listening to the game on XM radio somewhere in MinnesOOOta.

A few notes:
1) Jacksonville's radio announcers were comically bad. Of course they are homers, but even my wife was laughing at how much they complained. And when I watched the game (I love my DVR) at home, they were wrong on a couple calls.

2) I saw Evans in the game early on defense. No surprise that they were doing a heavy rotation due to the heat, but seeing Evans out there was a bit of a surprise.

3) After the first 4th down Jacksonville made, I was stunned that we kept single-covering Allen Robinson. The only reason we got that last 4th down is that they didn't throw it his way.

4)Schum picked a doosy of a time to shank a punt. Hopefully, this isn't a sign that he can't punt under pressure.

5) Even the Jacksonville announcers were critical of MM for:
- Calling a timeout on 1st down with 3 minutes to go in the first half.
- Using Cobb as an RB in the second half when pounding Lacy into the Jag's tired D-line would've made more sense.

6) Adams is maddenly inconsistent. It was an awesome TD catch, but wow did he have some bad moments. Dropped passes, bad routes (AROD's body language seemed to indicate it on a couple misses). I'm surprised Rodgers keeps going back to him. The third best WR on our team is going to get a LOT of chances with most of the attention paid to Nelson, Cobb, Lacy, and Cook. This has to be a make or break year for him.

7) Lane Taylor seemed to do OK. He and Tretter let a Jag D-lineman come through on 3rd down, which forced an early (and short) throw from Rodgers. If they sustain that drive, there would've been no time left for the Jag's final drive.
