Revenge game or a Tom Petty game (free-fallin'!)?

Another loss and the Packers will be in full-on disarray. Win and perhaps this becomes a mid-season lull with a strong December finish? The Packers still own their own destiny, as winning out assures them the NFC north title (one being a win at home against the Vikings).

The Lions have gone on a mini-winning streak but still are not a good football team. Stafford is still inconsistent and the defense lacks any big-name players. Even in the Lion's victory against the Packers, they did everything possible to lose that game. The Packers were just better at giving it away.

Quarless is back to practice, but not activated (yet). Abbrederis might make it. Montegomery still looks like he is out. Getting the healthy WRs and Rodgers on the same page is priority #1 this week. Getting back more options to lower the pressure on the existing #1-3 WRs should be priority #2.

Playing indoors this week could also have some impact to the game. Certainly the cold and rain did no one any favors last week, but seemed to effect our WRs more than the Bear's. And Jeff Janis doing kick returns on turf should be really fun to watch.

At this point with the Pack, I have no idea what to expect. My only hope is a bit more consistency and fewer mental mistakes than last week. If not, another "L" is assured.

It's just sad that when we went from 3rd and 6 to 3rd and 1 on the penalty, I knew we wouldn't make it.

Why are we running laterally on 3rd and 1...again? RTFB, north and south. Pound it.

What a horrid punt. Ugh. How is Masthay still punting for Green Bay?

If they don't get this 10-0 deficit turned around for a win, then it's time to put a fork in this season. Almost expecting the near total collapse if the Packers drop to 7-5.

Edit: Make it 17-0.

It's time to put a fork in this season. So tired of watching this porous defense get embarrassed time and time again. I don't care what Dom Capers did ten years ago. Time for him to go. Time for Clements to go. McCarthy is next. He refuses to take the play calling over because it would be admitting a mistake.

This team's season is on the line tonight, and it looks like it doesn't care. Vic's inbox is going to crash.

Yeah. Missed FG adds to the misery.

Looks like it might be time to start the offseason thinking. When do pitchers and catchers report?

Is MM calling the plays? He looks more involved in the offense.

I don't remember him with the playsheet in the last couple games.

Some sparks of life in the 2nd Half. Giving up the FG to Detroit when having so many chances for a 3rd-down stop hurts. Need the 3-and-out to get the ball back.

The Lions tried hard let us win in Lambeau. Hopefully we take advantage this time.

Just can't make the key 3rd down play on defense when desperately needed.

Game of inches. Didn't miss the punt block attempt by much.

I'd like to thank the Lions coaches for positioning two DB's on the sidelines halfway down the field on the last play and not putting Megatron in the endzone.
