Anyone looking forward to the train wreck that is Cutler v. Romo, otherwise known as the Bears v. the Cowpokes? I am. It's hard not to watch. While the Bears definitely have the defensive edge, the Cowboys have to feel like they have a shot just because of the guy on the other side of the field. If I had to pick one to be not as awful, I'd pick Romo, hands down. I think the Cowpokes win, but I'm definitely rooting for Cutler's head to explode. Literally. That would be messy, but fun.

Wow, how many Bears fans are in Dallas for this game? It was deafening after that run by Forte.

Romo is a human turnover machine. It's just stunning that Dallas keeps running him out there each week.

Well, not as stunning as the Jets with Sanchez.

Heyo!

I predict that Matt Flynn's eventual first start will be completely overshadowed by Tebow's eventual first start. Wilson at least has upside; Sanchez just...keeps...getting...worse.

Speaking of Flynn. You've got Marshawn Lynch running like a mad man with only so much beast mode tread left, a pretty good defense that could get really good throughout the season. I really think Flynn could take them deep into the playoffs if they'd give him a shot.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

I actually thought Seattle's defense played every bit as well against the Pack as SF's did. Really impressive unit imo... and then they go lose to the Rams.

Sometimes I feel bad for Romo. He usually plays really well and often gets no help from his teammates or has the strange bad luck that when he does make a mistake, it turns into the worst outcome possible.

I didn't see the 4th quarter, so I don't know how lolRomo those INT's were, but the other ones weren't even his fault. The first pick-six was the result of Bryant not adjusting his route when he was supposed to. The second was right to Ogletree and it bounced off his hands. The third that got run back by Briggs I didn't even realize was an INT - I thought it was a fumble. I suppose that was more on Romo, but it's not like he just threw a bad pass right to Briggs - he got hit (or the ball get poked out, I forget) which resulted in the mis-throw.

And there's no other QB in the NFL who has his/his teammates' mistakes turn into worst-case scenario more than Romo. I mean, two of the first three picks get run back? Instead of just being knocked down, the pass to Ogletree bounces straight up in the air and right to a defender?

I don't like the Cowboys and I really couldn't care less about Romo, but I watch him and think to myself that he's pretty damn good and then things just blow up on him. Sometimes it's his fault, sometimes it's not, but things seem to blow up as badly as could ever be possible.

Apparently Cutler had a run-in with Tice on the sideline....or an avoidance or something. Dan Patrick was talking a bit about it this morning. The Cowboys are the Cowboys....lots of hype, and plenty of fizzle. It sure is fun living in Texas and looking forward to the afternoon local sportstalk guys ripping on Romo, Jerrah, and the Cowboys.
