Blaine Gabbert is surprisingly looking pretty good against Minnesota.

I jinxed him and he overthrew Blackmon on what should have been an easy 5 yard TD pass. Jaguars have to settle for a FG after a bad 3rd down playcall. I hate slow developing run plays on the goal line.

I'm actually impressed with the refs so far in the Indy/Chicago game.

Also from that game, I don't know if there are two QBs in this league more dependent on their #1 receivers than Cutler and Luck.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

RGIII had a tremendous half. He does NOT look like a rookie out there, although he did make one throw into coverage that should have been intercepted. His pocket presence is tremendous, really limiting himself from pulling it down a running until he really has to. On one play he rolled out, had good room to run, but waited and found a WR deeper down the field for a bigger game.

Russell Wilson looks a bit rough in his first real game. And it's the Cardinals.

I'm with ya Jazzy on the replacement refs, but did you see that mess with the timeouts at the end of the ARZ/SEA game? My god. That was embarrassing.

Yeah, that was a bit messy. Luckily it didn't have an effect on the game.

To be honest, the way they made the decision is the way that makes sense...but that's not what the rule book says. There's really no reason to be charged a timeout when a player gets injured on a play that stops the clock. You could just see the look on the ref's face though..."oh crap, what now?" There was no going back on it.
