Ugh. Whose idea was it to put Millen and Theismann in the same booth?

Unfortunately, I think the Bears win this game. That will be the worst 7-3 team in some time.

Ugh.  I knew we would get Joe Buck for this game.

My thoughts exactly. Millen is tolerable as the lone color guy, but Theismann is so bad that he makes Millen seem worse. I think there may be a formula out there for this kind of thing. For MNF, I like Jaworski by himself, but now that Gruden is in the booth with him, I can't stand either of them.

2 color commentators = 1 too many

How was that not intentional grounding? Would have been a safety.

Al Harris looked rather immobile on that last play.

"Remember, punting is not a bad thing."

Oh Joe Theismann, you keep my dreams of being an NFL announcer alive.

Imagine being a Lions fan and listening to Matt Millen rave about Rod Marinelli.

Yeah, but it takes it to a new level when the GM that drove you into and under the ground spends the entire game heaping praise on the coach that he hired to lead them to the only 0-16 record in NFL history.

I also couldn't believe how much Millen hyped up Marinelli. That was pretty high on the Unintentional Comedy Scale.

Miami sucks. Green Bay would have beaten this team by three touchdowns at least, but instead the Packers had them when they were healthy and playing well.

The Dolphins ran the ball 7 times. Apparently they have more faith in Tyler Thigpen than Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams. What a joke of an effort.

Truthfully, this type of game makes me worry that Green Bay might be horribly overrated. That they could lose to both of those teams is mind-boggling.

Well, without Clay Matthews, the Packers defense drops dramatically.  The Packers didn't have Clay Matthews against the Dolphins, and the second half of the Redskins game.  I believe McNabb's completion percentage before Matthews left that game was around 35%.

In short, the Packers would be 8-1 right now had Clay Matthews never sat out those 1.5 games.  I don't know how good they really are, but I wouldn't call them horribly overrated.

We also played a Dolphins team with a starting QB, Brandon Marshall, and an attempt to run the ball. The Bears faced them with their 3rd string QB, 1 1/2 quarters of Marshall, and 7 rushing attempts.

Maybe this just makes me a homer, but I can't see any way to fairly compare the Packers-Dolphins to the Bears-Dolphins. They faced two completely different teams.

The packers out played the Bears, they just shot themselves in the foot with penalties that game. This Miami game is about the opposite of the Bears/Dolphins game. The Packers came in banged up and did not play a great game because of it while the Dolphins were the banged up team vs the Bears and most likely couldnt' have beaten any team in the NFL with that effort they put on the field.

This Bears team is not very good and would lose to any other 3 loss team in a best of 5 matchup imo. They are a .500 type team who had a few things bounce their way. Every NFL season has at least one of those.
