CBS:
Southwest and northwest Wisconsin will see the 12 noon game
Jacksonville @ Dallas
- Jim Nantz, Phil Simms
The rest of Wisconsin, which likely includes many of the people here, will see a late game
Tennessee @ San Diego
– Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts

-I'm finally playing Britt this week.  If he doesn't do at least half of what he did last week, I'm gonna go to the bar and beat the crap out of him.

Fox early:
Green Bay @ NY Jets
– Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa

Fox late:
Minnesota @ New England
– Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman

-That is one stacked lineup for Fox on Sunday.  After a likely interesting game between GB and JETS, they get the Favre fiasco and the possibility of Tarvaris Jackson trying to decipher Belichick's defense.

NBC Sunday Night:
Pittsburgh @ New Orleans - Al Michaels, Cris Collingsworth
(That one's for you CheezWiz) Image

-As if New Orleans wasn't having enough problems on offense, now they get to play the Steelers.  Even if they put it together before this game...they still have to play the Steelers.  That's rough.  At least they get this one at home.

ESPN Monday Night:
Houston @ Indianapolis - Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden, Ron Jaworski

-This feels like one of those games where everyone is expecting a shootout and it'll be 7-3 at halftime.  Houston is getting better, but I still can't see them hanging on with Peyton in prime time.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

at least this week's episode of "The League" has Pierre Thomas going bananas against the Steelers. Wonder how THAT'S going to turn out?

Dude, I have it recorded...don't tell me!

That show doesn't really follow the actual football season well.  It's an 8-team league and one of the guys was honestly considering starting Josh Cribbs.

And now, pretty much like I said

Favre expects to start, but isn't sure if he can make it through the whole game.  Favre gets to look like the tough guy that leaves it on the field; Childress gets to look like the guy putting his team ahead of Favre and gets a chance to justify the Jackson pick.  This script is so obvious.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

So, pretty much the opposite of what Chilly was saying early in the week (not concerned with "The Streak."  There is zero reason for Favre to start this game, other than keeping a meaningless (to the team) streak alive.

As much as I hate Favre, there is still no doubt he is better than Tjack and gives them the best chance to win probably. Give it a try, really what does HE have to lose at this point? Next year?

I'd worry about what he'll be doing to himself when he's retired 10 years down the line. He's risking severe injury and permanent loss of mobility if he injures his leg/ankle more.

Not to mention that with New England's defense, a lack of mobility in the pocket could make him a sitting duck.

If he doesn't care at how bad he crushed his reputation the past 3 years, I don't think he is really caring about his health 10 years down the road. I mean he is playing one of the world's most dangerous sports at 41 years old.

What does he really have left right now at all? Pretty much just his streak and his "aura of toughness"

Pretty sure the last thing Chilly wants to do is piss Favre off anymore after lately.

I agree completely, I don't think he's thought that far ahead. When he's in a wheelchair at 55-60, I'd imagine he's going to regret this season immensely.

What leads you to say this? He retired, then changed his mind, then retired then changed his mind again......texted pics of his junk to a woman who isn't his wife.....what about his makeup makes you say he doesn't think ahead?

I just noticed the Broncos and 49ers are playing in London, England today. Guess the NFL is hell bent on expanding internationally.

Yup, and a lot of the talk has been about the next team being in either London or L.A. Here come the London Vikings!

Childress would still be ugly in London.

And the score is 7-3. I bet they are loving the excitement of the NFL.

Okay, it all evens out. Missed FG. Awesome!

Cowboys are getting rocked by the Jags. I can't imagine Wade will hold on much longer.

29 MPH wind in New England? I put the over/under on Favre turnovers at about 9.

I'm torn on that one.....I like having Wade in Dallas, because he's fun to watch......and if I still lived in Wisconsin, it would be fun to watch Chilly in Minny.

Aikman with some really harsh comments so far about Childress/Minnesota/Favre.
