In case you're wondering...no, it never gets old.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

It appears that the NFL network will be covering this one live for those of us outside local coverage.

Bedard says Barnett didn't make the trip to Seattle, and he doesn't think Driver or Woodson did, either. Sounds like Hawk will at least try to play, though.

But, the question is, will he play well?

Makes sense, considering how many guys are trying to make the team yet. Woodson doesn't have anything to prove, so get Pat Lee on the field more this game please.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Not sure what you've been watching, but Hawk has looked really good this year.

Plus Seattle is a really long flight, and the starters are expected to play 3 quarters in the next game on Thursday. Makes sense to rest most of the vets tonight.

Some of the pass coverages he's been beaten pretty badly on. I know it's not his strength, but I'd hope that progress would be made there. Otherwise, yeah, he's really good.

No Hawk tonight, per the Packers blog.

Inactives: S Atari Bigby, CB Charles Woodson, RB Kregg Lumpkin, RB James Starks, LB Alex Joseph, LB A.J. Hawk, LB Nick Barnett, LB Brad Jones, WR Donald Driver.

Lineup changes: Brady Poppinga for Matthews, Desmond Bishop for Hawk, Robert Francois for Barnett, Brandon Underwood for Woodson.

I love how the Packers' announce team is attempting to make this seem like it's important in some way. It's the second preseason game.

Case in point- "Matt Hasslebeck really needs to play well this preseason." Really, Rich Gannon? They Seahawks are going to start Charlie Whitehurst if he doesn't?

Staying in your lanes and/or tackling would keep them from starting at the 50 yard line.
