Let's go Big Red -- Miami's going to be a tough opponent, and will be motivated for their first 10-win season since 2003. They come in winners of 4 of their last 5. The Badgers are the first Big Ten opponent for Miami since the classic BCS title game against Ohio State that ended the 2002 season.

Don't ask me why, but I think the Badgers are going to dominate.

I think the Badgers will win...I think people forget this team just might be the best team in the Big Ten. We physically dominated OSU and very well could have beaten Iowa.

38-17 UW

Excited to see Bucky finally back in action. Should be interesting to see how the Badgers defend against the U's passing game.

Finally, ready to watch some good OT prospects go at it in Fox and Carimi.

Here's hoping the Badgers put an exclamation point on a good victory. That might help them in next season's preseason poll...which we all know is about half the battle in making it to the BCS Championship game...right or wrong.

I'm a bit surprised the media hasn't made more of Donna Shalala's connection to both schools in tonight's game. You'd think there'd be one of those "friendly wager" stories where Biddy Martin or Jim Doyle puts up some Wisconsin cheese/brats/beer against...whatever Miami's good at. Citrus, I suppose.

ESPN just called the game "The U against The W." Nice.

The Miami players and fans look like they're absolutely freezing. 49 degrees is still nice vacation weather for Wisconsin.

The first half was definitely interesting...Miami came out looking like they didn't really respect the "slow" guys from the Big Ten, but the Badgers have really been hitting them in the mouth and playing a lot more physically. I also think it's hilarious that the Canes are huddled around the space heaters when it's in the mid-40s -- they're not coming off as a terribly tough team.

Tough injury for the Canes with Cooper going down on the return, though. That was just a fluke injury, and the field looks to be in terrible condition. Here's to hoping the Badgers can come out of the half with another score and put them away early.

Not sure if the weather is having an effect on the game, but it is really funny to see the Miami players/fans shivering while the Wisconsin people look comfortable. It's 50 degrees!!!

Minus the first 2 plays, Wisconsin is doing everything right to win the game. The comments about the Badgers being "slow" were a myth anyway (minus Tolzien being a pocket quarterback). Besides, "fast" teams are often very athletic but have little control and are susceptible to turnovers.

That being said, I do expect Miami to make a run at it in the 2nd half.

Miami is an incredibly soft team. They look like they don't even want to be there anymore. Its 50 degrees!

Has the Badger's punter been this consistent all year? He's been a master at putting the ball inside the ten.
