Of interest to the Packers, conveniently one in each time block:

Panthers @ Giants, Noon CT
Broncos @ Eagles, 3:15 CT
Cowboys @ Redskins, 7:30 CT

I'm torn about NYG. I'd like them to have something to play for when then go into the dome next week.

The Giants' defense has been shockingly bad for much of the season...injuries really killed them, especially in the secondary.

Looks like the Giants quit already...what a way to close Giants Stadium. The Panthers have been playing their butts off for the past few weeks -- it'll be interesting to see what happens with John Fox, because it seems like they're playing like they want him to stick around.

Carolina would be stupid to fire Fox. He is a pretty good coach. I think Delhomme was the problem there, for the most part. Matt Moore doesn't look to bad.

BAL-PIT and NO-TB are both tied in the fourth.

Wishing I could see NO-TB. The Bucs are a huge spoiler team this year. What a weird game.

Games are really moving today - pretty much everything could be over or close to over by 3:15.

Saints lose, meaning Minnesota still has an outside chance at the #1 seed. I'm still pulling for the scenario where the Eagles take the #2 seed and force the Vikings to play their second round game outdoors.

Looks like the Saints "peaked" at the wrong part of the season, haven't looked very good the last 3-4 weeks.

Colts fans were not happy when Peyton was benched with a small lead -- every time Curtis Painter stepped on the field it was like re-living Favre's first trip back to Lambeau. The players were pretty visibly ticked off on the sidelines about being benched, too...Peyton stood on the sideline the entire second half with his helmet on, almost like he was silently protesting it. What a waste. Caldwell is already going to get some grief from the fans for this, but if they end up not making the Super Bowl after this I would be pretty livid if I were a Colts fan. Yeah, the Super Bowl isn't guaranteed either if you go for 16-0, but at least you can say you went down swinging.

I just don't know why you'd even play some of the guys at all if you're not going to go for it. I understand the philosophy, I don't agree with it, but why play them at all if that's your stance?

Too bad the Colts decided to tank. I just don't understand why everybody seems to think that losing on purpose is cool. As Herm Edwards once said, "you play to win the game."

It always seems like the teams that succeed in the playoffs are the ones going hard at the end of the season and peaking at the right time while fighting to get into the playoffs. The ones that coast to the finish and rest players almost always seem to get upset by the former at some point in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I think it comes from upstairs -- from Mr. Polian.

I don't get it. The Colts won't have a meaningful game until January 17. Peyton Manning has never been injured -- what are the chances he gets hurt in the next two games? When you have a chance to be 19-0 and forever be known as the greatest football team in history, you go for it. Indianapolis once again will be too rested and I look forward to the Chargers going into Lucas Oil and finally winning the AFC title.

Not sure how to feel about the game tonight. Go...Bears?

Here's to hoping both teams suck and one of them accidently scores a TD to win the game.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?
