Mason wasn't even close on either of the two misses. Absolutely awful.

I don't think I've ever seen Crosby miss that badly

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

wow, this team is a joke. They better right the ship FAST. They already dug themselves in a hole deep enough.

Everything about it is sloppiness. Defense, offense, special teams. The drops probably cumulatively cost them a win today.

I think the reality is that this is just a mediocre team so far. Way too many simple mistakes, the way they've played so far they fully deserve to be 2-3.

Got to agree at this point. Hard to rethink roster decisions and second guess the GM after coming off a 15-1 regular season. But this team just isn't that good based on what is happening on the field.

Problems with the OL is a glaring issue. A "high-powered" throwing offense is misfiring as well, often badly. Couple that with blowing a 18 point half time lead today, and mediocre seems like an apt description.

Rodgers isn't throwing deep, and when he occasionally does, he misses. There have been injuries, bad calls, etc, but reality is that Rodgers is playing very poorly for his standards. Some of the sacks he's been taking are totally on him for just standing in the pocket.

On the bright side, imo we saw that Alex Green can be the answer at HB this season. He brings so much more to the table than Benson.

I haven't seen a worse FG miss since Shaun Suisham in XLV. With that in mind, at least it's only week five. It's just terrible to lose to mediocre teams though. That's two so far thus year.

Disagree, other than his one long run he looked horrible. Benson has been one of the few bright spots this year IMO.

I think he's looked good in the passing game so far & imo he shows more ability in the run game. Benson's obviously stronger, but he's nothing special as a runner & fumble-prone. I don't mean Benson is bad, I just think Green provides more upside.

Mason Crosby is a joke. That first missed FG was bad enough, but he looked like a bad college kicker on that last attempt. Glad we're investing $3M+ a year in a real clutch kicker.

Everytime they panned to Mccarthy/Rodgers on the sidelines Rodgers looked glassy eyed and out of it. I know that he was incredible last year and that has become the expectation for him but man he is not hitting the open guys this year. It just didn't look like they were into it at all in the 2nd half, all the dropped interceptions didn't help but the offense looked pretty poor.

Those dropped interceptions are becoming a real problem. This defense is built to create turnovers, and they're getting all the way there...pass rush, decent coverage, etc.

...then they drop the pick. That's way too many game-changers going right through the DBs hands.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Other than the crappy blocking by the offensive line (other than about a game and half), I think the biggest problem with the passing game is that the receivers aren't getting open. Last year, we saw the receivers flying around the field and Rodgers finding someone instantly, hitting them in stride, and letting them run for another 10-15 yards. This year, Rodgers has to look, look, look, look, and then take a sack, throw it away, or run. Nelson has been a total non-factor, Jennings has obviously been hurt and hasn't really done anything when in, Driver doesn't play (and, god bless him, he drops half the balls thrown to him, and Cobb and Jones only get open on short routes that don't typically develop into much. Finley has played well in 2 out of 5 games (Seattle and New Orleans) and the rest of the TE's are pretty useless in the passing game.

Rodgers hasn't been Godgers this season, but he's still played pretty well considering that the line doesn't protect him, the receivers have been terrible, and the running game is non-existent.

The defense would look a lot better if they weren't giving up sustained drives because the refs keep calling mind-boggling pass interference calls. That led to a touchdown which indirectly caused the loss. It's not that it's a "bad" call that was hard to see - those happen. It's that it is mind-boggling, how in the world can that be a penalty on the defense calls. It's mind-boggling, how can replay rule that a catch calls? Not only do they lead to scores, they keep the defense on the field and tire them out. Not only did the offensive WR push off, but the pass landed five yards out of bounds. It wasn't catchable. Sure there were other mistakes made, poor blocking by the interior OL, and Rodgers holding the ball too long. But the Colts should have had one fewer TD.

I'm sick of it. I have half a mind to show up at Lambeau Field with 1000 t-shirts that say, "REFS STILL SUCK".

I'm not going to blame this loss on the refs...but the pass interference call, and the roughing the passer calls were terrible. Packers recovered the fumble which would have probably led to points considering the field position.

I too am sick of it. McCarthy will never do it, but I really wish he would light someone up in a press conference. Get fined.

Every damn game there is an easy but big call that goes against the Packers.

That said...did we seriously just lose to this team? How about covering Wayne?

The roughing call on Perry was correct, and emblematic of what the NFL has become. QBs will always be the face of the game and the league is doing everything it can to protect it. Ferocious hit and a probable game-cementing turnover all for naught. That's what, 3 of those that have gone against us thus far this year (two in the Seattle game)? It's just comical.

I would be fine with the Packers paying one person to scream "RUN THE BALL!!" into McCarthy's ear every 15 minutes or so. I don't care if Benson went down...you're up 21-3 and you did that by a balanced attack that prevented the D-line from just running upfield at the QB.

Yet the first drive of the 2nd half? Pass (holding), pass, pass, pass (interception).

2nd drive? Pass, pass (sack), pass (illegal forward pass), punt

My favorite part...starting in the 4th quarter, still WINNING 21-19...
Drive 1: Pass, Pass (sack), Punt
Drive 2: Pass (scramble 1st down), Pass (sack), Pass, Pass, Punt
Drive 3: Pass, Run!, Pass (sack), Pass (sack), Punt

Just unbelievable. You cannot win football games when the D-line already knows what you're gonna do and Marshall Newhouse is protecting your blindside.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

I believe Newhouse only gave up one sack. Two of the sacks were by a DT (Redding), one by a blitzing LB (I believe up the middle), and one each by Freeney and Mathis. Given that Freeney and Mathis play on opposite sides, that would mean one sack on Newhouse. One was certainly on Rodgers as he held the ball for at least five seconds.

For supposedly being one of the best guards in the league, Sitton has looked very mediocre this year. Penalties, sacks given up... I don't see a Pro Bowl guard there.
