That I was. In spite of their ineptitude, they could somehow make the playoffs. Yes, the Pack has to have 1 Lions loss and they win out. Hopefully that Lions loss comes tonight. I'm rooting for it!

I have the last 37 minutes of this game on my DVR, and I just barely caught my wife about to delete it. I keep watching it over and over. Just unreal.

And seriously, Garrett throws Romo under the bus for changing out of the run on the Shields pick? Who called the other 50 pass plays up until that point? What a dick. He should probably consider the fact that JJ has more invested in Romo than him.
Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Thing was, the pass play on the Shields pick was actually a great call by Romo. He just messed it up by trying to make a hero pass after eluding Matthews.

Austin was single covered and beat Shields. If Matthews doesn't get that shot at Romo or Romo doesn't panic after dodging him, Romo is probably able to plant his feet and lead Austin down the field for a TD.

Everything was right about that play for Dallas until Romo actually threw the ball.

Yup, the throw was way behind, but Shields also covered a lot of ground very quickly.
Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Keeps being said that it should have been a TD, but Miles Austin is not going to out-run Shields. Not many can. It would have been bad news and significantly altered the game, but no way that would have been a TD.

Not to mention Austin would have pulled up with a hammy 10 more yards down the field.
