nope, he didn't give up that many yards but what he did was miss an easy fg and not giving his team 3 big points. Something has been doing a lot this year.

We could attribute alot of things to the loss:

Dropped passes.
Missed Field Goal
Bad Defense
Penalties

but it all comes down to the Packers will have to play better.

To be fair to the rest of the defense, Jarrett Bush gave up around 20% of the yards on two plays.

Jarrett Bush is just an awful football player.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Love the new avatar, JerJazzy.

Right now I feel rage-y.

I don't remember the last time I felt this sick after a regular season game.

We didn't really anticipate winning this game at the beginning of the season so I'm not that bent out of shape about it. They went into Pittsburgh, the defending Super Bowl champs, and gave them all they could handle and it took a perfectly executed play to lose the game at the last second.

I'm just wondering if I was the only guy screaming "DON'T RUSH THREE!!!" on that final drive and all those third and longs they converted. They gave him way too much time.

Like I said earlier, I didn't mind the 3 man rush on the last play. They need a 20-ish yard pass into the end zone and 8 defenders should be enough to cover that, no matter how much time the QB gets.

I was very disappointed in all the 3rd and 4th-and-longs converted throughout the game, though.

We're still in good shape for the playoffs, though, so while I'm disappointed mainly because of how the game ended, I'm not too worried about our playoff chances (I don't really care what seed we are).

OK, I will readily admit that I didn't get to watch the game (thanks Fox, for showing a crappy Eagles/Niners game instead!), but I did get to see Roethlisberger's line....How in the world did he throw for 503 yards??? I mean, OK, against the Rams or Bucs D, maybe....but the Pack? The D actually was playing good! What in the world happened?

I don't intend to offend anyone with this statement, but this game, although tough to take, was no where NEAR the magnitude of a "4th & 26" kind of a game. Settle down.

Like LouisEly said, we all expected us to lose this game back in August. We still have the tie breaker on Dallas.

I'm disappointed but I'm far from ticked off. In the end, all is good.

I can't imagine how angry I would be if this was a playoff game.

I feel like I got a punch to the gut. Man, to have the game in hand and lose was devastating. Sure, I knew it would be very tough to win in Pittsburgh and at the start of the year I had it as a loss, but they had it.

If I never saw Jarret Bush or Mason Crosby again in a Packers uniform I wouldn't mind it.

Oh yeah, the rushing 3 for most of that drive was stupid. You gotta have at least 4 guys rushing.

A lot of questionable calls by the refs in this game as well, feels like Pittsburgh was favored a bit.

After my posts ranting, I would like to give credit where credit is due once again to Aaron Rodgers, the O-Line (only 1 sack today I believe), Jones, Finley, Jennings, Jones and the enigma that is Clay Matthews, that man can't be stopped.

I've cooled a bit but this game really ticked me off. The zebras really seemed to give all of the "benefit of the doubt" calls to the Steelers. That challange call was a joke and all of the non-calls for holding on the final drive were enough to make me think I would have a stroke due to high blood pressure. The Packers defense was horrid but the lack of pressure on Rothlesberger was due, in large part, to all of the non-calls.

Ok now how does this effect our playoff scenerios? It really doesn't right?

I really don't care about the seed if its a 5 or 6.

I would almost rather be the 6 seed. I don't like the idea of playing Arizona 2 weeks in a row for some reason. Just take care of business against a piss poor Seattle team next week, get win #10 hopefully clinch and then rest guys if you have to vs Arizona in game #16.

only 1 sack today I believe

And that was on a designed screen play. The Steelers line just got to Rodgers too quickly, but man if he could've gotten that one off there was an awful lot of room to run and blockers in front.

Ok now how does this effect our playoff scenerios? It really doesn't right?

It affects the playoff scenarios the least between these last three games. I wasn't really all that disappointed in this game, other than continually seeing Jarrett Bush trotted out to give up another big play. We just put up 36 points on the Steelers defense, and Polamalu or no Polamalu, that's still impressive. Jermichael has to be scaring the bejeezus out of the rest of the NFC playoff teams. There are a lot of things going right, and realistically we only need to take one out of these next two games against Seattle or an Arizona team that might not be playing for anything.

Love the new avatar, JerJazzy.

Gotta give the credit to Point on this one. He was my inspiration.

I don't think I'll stop shaking my head until he gets cut. I'm ready to start a petition. Maybe something on Facebook. This is ridiculous.

I haven't disliked a Packers defensive back as much as I dislike Jarrett Bush since Bhawoh Jue. Man alive. It wasn't just Bush today, though...Roethlisberger always seemed to find the soft part of the zone and picked them apart when he needed to.

I can't believe how frustrated I am with this loss. I had a bad feeling about the game to begin with, but the fact that they almost pulled off the win despite playing like complete garbage for most of the first half made it that much harder to deal with. At the same time, I guess it could be a good sign, too -- Rodgers & Co. showed a hell of a lot of poise in pressure situations. The pass defense in this game definitely doesn't make me excited about a possible match up against the Cards in the playoffs (and possibly the Vikings/Saints in later rounds), though.

It's nothing that can't be cured by going out and abusing Matt Hasselbeck next week, though. Image
