We're at the point in the season where we are starting to see who championship caliber teams are. If the world was perfect, in my opinion, the NCAA would have a 16 team playoff to determine the national champion. I'd like to see how others would pick the field and rank the teams at this point. Here's my projection.

1) Alabama- Kinda have to go with them now......beat some good teams
16) Ball St - Hard to keep an undefeated team out

Utah- Undefeated, but Michigan aint exaclty the Michigan of old, and a squeaker vs Oregon St......meh
9) Ohio St- Different team with Pryor and a healthy Wells, could be the surprise of the tournament

4) Florida- Looking good, but how on earth did they lose to Ole Miss, at home no less?
13) Missouri - This would be a heck of a first round game if you ask me

5) Oklahoma- Low for them but until the beat Texas Tech they havent really convinced me
12) Georgia - In my opinion let the preseason hype go to their head

6) Penn St - Big 10 Champ who blew it against Iowa
11) BYU- what the heck, the Mountain West is a tough conference

3) Texas - Best 1-loss team out there?
14) Pitt - B/C you have to put a Big East team in, I guess

7) USC- Not playing to their talent level but a good good team none the less
10) Boise St- Another undefeated team with an average resume

15) Virginia Tech - B/C you have to put an ACC team in somewhere too
2) Texas Tech- Impressive vs Texas and Ok St, but I wanna see how they do on the road vs Oklahoma

This is how i see it now. I think Missouri is going to lose again, which would knock them out, and I think Oklahoma is going to beatTexas Tech which would vault them to the number 2 seed. A team like UNC or Florida St has a chance to sneak in as well.
