Don't know how I missed this but Clark doesn't turn 21 until October. He's still filling out his frame. If I had caught that I would have put him in my draft somewhere. Maybe the Datone Jones UCLA connection is too soon and I don't trust UCLA linemen.

This year was really hard to pick specific DL because of the depth at the position. They could have gone Clark, Butler, Robinson, Reed, Jones...

Second round will be interesting and I wouldn't be surprised if they double-dip at DL. Could see them trade up for Spriggs, but I could also see them sitting back and seeing who of Robinson, Reed, Jones, Billings, Austin Johnson, Willie Henry, Spriggs, Le'Raven Clark, Correa, Jack, Ragland, Fackrell, Derrick Henry, or Hunter Henry falls to them. Wouldn't be disappointed with any of them (honestly, Ragland is the one I'd want the least as I am not sold on him being a 3-down LB). That's 14 guys to potentially slip 27 spots; odds are good that at least one of them will be there.

Ha... for my 2nd round prediction I should have said "A Henry" (Willie Henry the pick, Derrick Henry if available, not surprised if Hunter Henry).

I saw a mock draft that had Deion Jones in the second round. Interesting MLB. 6'1" and 225 lbs, but runs well. Probably too small for 3 downs (although most reviews said he could), but an interesting 'tweener backer option.

Saw a remock with Braxton Miller in the 2nd and jaylon smith in the 3rd. That would. Be interesting. I'm warming up to the idea of taking a flyer on smith

Nice to get some quality OL depth. Burning one of the 4th round picks and a 7th round pick seems decent to move up.

Yeah, that seems like good value to trade up while keeping our third.

Wow, a TON of pre-draft predictions had Billings to Green Bay in the 1st. Hard to believe that he's still falling here in the 3rd and could possibly be an option for us if we choose to double-dip at DL.

Once again, hard to believe how off so many 'experts' were about Billings....

Wrong round, but got another one in Fackrell.

Can't argue with the picks, but ILB not addressed in the first three rounds again. Kiper has Schobert among the 10 best available now.

With Barrington announcing the pick, you knew they weren't going ILB there. Too awkward.

FWIW, WalterFootball.com had Fackrell going in the 2nd round, pick #51 overall, in their mock draft.

I'm very happy with Spriggs in the 2nd. I was kind of hoping a trade back into the 2nd and take him. So moving up and nabbing him was great too. I can see Spriggs taking the LT and Bak moving in to LG/RG.

LouisEly, nice job on Spriggs and Fackrell; just one round too early on each. So Schobert in the 5th round is going to happen? [smile]

If TT traded up in the 2nd to get Spriggs then chances are they had a first round grade on him but had a higher grade on Clark. If Clark was gone then I think there was a good chance they would have taken Spriggs at #27. Then again, I don't think it was coincidental that they traded up one spot ahead of the Bears to get Spriggs.

Not every day you see TT filling up needs so early. Usually he goes after something not so need obvious. Not really impressed with the Martinez pick at face value though.

Nice to see us getting some depth so far.

With picks from Stanford and Northwestern, I can say with some confidence that our defensive team IQ will be higher in 2016.

Maybe it is just me, but I kind of wish they would take Drew Kaser(P). I feel like the negative effect Tim Masthay has on this team is pretty underrated...he really really sucks. They have to get someone better at some point somehow.

Bah, I went back and forth between Schobert and Martinez for their 4th round ILB. Picked the wrong one.

Got Lowry though! (Just a liiiiiiitttttle off on the round. [smile] )

Welp, there's your obligatory TT WR draft pick. Dude is supposed to be fast, ran a 4.42 at the combine and was among the best in the 3-cone and long shuttle. More of a returner than a WR.

Does this mean the Packers carry only 2 TEs on the roster? Who does it mean curtains for - Abbrederis? Do they give up on Adams so quickly? Janis is too good of a special teams player to get rid of. Nelson, Cobb, Adams, Montgomery, Abbrederis, Janis, Davis... something's gotta give.

Davis seems kind of like a home run ball type of threat. Wonder if he is insurance if (god forbid) Nelson goes down with an injury again? The long ball was almost non existent last year without Nelson and no one on the roster really had the ability to get open deep. Really hurt the offense overall.

Still have a chance at Scooby as an UDFA too!

Not a chance. I really like Mitchell's chances this year. Or hopefully Backman comes on. But at worst, it will be Perillo again.

I would say that its a good chance that Davis ends up on the PS this year. Otherwise, its probably down to Adams and Abbrederis. I think Janis is going to break out this year as the 3rd WR.
