Sorry.

I try not to talk too much about the Eagles around here (obviously because it's a Packer board), but I thought I'd throw that out there. I actually think I had that for an avatar at one time.

This will be my first and last post with this avatar. If someone feels particularly sadistic or masochistic and wants to use it, right-click on it, do a Save Image As..., upload it to your account, and it's yours.

Thoughts on McNabb? Trade or stay?

Personally, I'm a fan. I know the Philly fans really get on him, but they're going to miss him when he's gone. Kind of reminds me of Sheets: gets a bad rap for being injury prone but is a great player when healthy.

The thing is, do we want to be a non-contender for the next few years and build up Kolb, or do we make one last run with this core group of players who were playing very well at the end of the season? I say take a shot at making one last run, kind of like the Packers have done with Favre. At least there will be no "what ifs" if they give it a go and then a small rebuild will be acceptable in my eyes.

I have to agree with you burnie. I have no love or hate for the Eagles but as a football fan I think they should go with McNabb at least one more year. They have a good team. If they have a good draft and add a free agent or two they could contend in the NFC. What is the thoughts of Philly fans on Kolb?

I really don't know. I think they're curious to see what he can do, but they're nervous it won't go well. I'll tell you one thing, I trust the people doing the drafting and they must've really liked Kolb to take him when they did.
