Well, here we are again. I honestly feel that what I did for the Lions in Version 1 would be what I'd do in reality. However, there are a couple things to consider now. One, with Denver at 18 now, along with Tampa Bay at 19, I'm not sure I get a crack at Josh Freeman at 20 anymore. Also, within the division, the Bears and Packers now have young franchise QBs, and it changes the landscape in the NFC North a little bit. Those things, and the simple idea of making things interesting and seeing how it affects things throughout Version 2, means the Detroit Lions will select:

Matthew Stafford QB Georgia

I like both Sanchez and Stafford but Stafford has the stronger arm and more experience. In my opinion he's the safest QB in the draft. I like him a lot. Megatron will love catching passes from him.

I had to rewrite up the order and who's drawing where and there were a few errors. You did not lose the Oakland. I didn't have the time to get the draft up and redraw for the Pack. I was rushed as it was. If I waited any longer we won't have time to get this done in just a few weeks. We needed to get this started immediately. If you guys want I can still do a redrawing but that probably won't happen until tomorrow afternoon.

I apologize to jwaltz and everybody for wanting to get v 2 started quickly but being unable to help- moved this weekend and was without internet for a couple of days.

We can re-draw for the Pack, I'll take care of it before their pick comes up.

I would say either Jason Smith or Eugene Monroe. If I remember correctly, I believe homer said he was going to flip a coin between the two last time.

If it were me Jason Smith would be the pick. Jason Smith is a better run blocker, and with the new coaching staff's desire to ride Stephan Jackson as much as possible maximizing the run blocking capabilities of the line would be ideal.

Yeah, whatever T suits your fancy. I don't think there's much of a doubt that the Rams are going that way.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

In the LL Mock Draft Version 1.0, I went outside of the box and chose Michael Crabtree. Doing so kinda sorta messed up the top of the draft compared to the mainstream, so I'll play nice this time and go with Aaron Curry - LB, Wake Forest.

The Chiefs have acquired some patchwork help on defense this offseason, but adding a potential impact player in Curry for the longterm makes perfect sense. He'll definitely help in their transition to the 3-4.

Interrupting...

New Orleans is willing to trade down to acquire an extra draft pick in the 2nd (or the 1st if anyone is seriously considering that). PM me for offers.

Talk about coming to a grinding halt...

Unfortunately for the Packers, I think the Browns will go with Orakpo here.

Mock Draft 2.0 v. Brewers baseball

I think the Brewers are winning. At least in something Image

I agree with Orakpo.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?
