It's Senior Bowl Week.

Weigh=ins were yesterday. Here's the complete weigh-in results. I have a select number of the more prominent players below for those that don't want to look at all of them.

Senior Bowl Weigh-ins

Colt Brennan came in quite undersized and skinny. He was 6'2" 185. He needs to gain 10 pounds before the combine or NFL team will be concerned. Is Joe Flacco really 6'6" 232lbs pounds like Delaware listed him? Actually he's a quarter inch taller and just as heavy. He looked good at the weigh in. Scouts love his size. Erik Ainge measured 6'5" 1/2 and 225lbs. Ainge also looked good. He was as tall as you would expect from someone with his NBA bloodlines.

Fred Davis came in under 6'3" at 6'2" 5/8 but he weighed 250. He's cut and strong. The short height will hurt him a little bit but he has a cut body so that should help lessen the blow. Jacob Tamme came in just under 6'4" and wighed 234. He really needs to add some weight.

Early Doucet measured 5'11" 7/8 (almost 6', missed it by a hair) and weighed 211. He looks cut and very strong. Limas Sweed looked good and measured 6'4" 219. He appeared healthy. The Senior Bowl is of the utmost importance for him. If he shows he's fully recovered from his injury and plays very well he could be taken in the middle of the first round. If not, he could drop to the second round so this Senior Bowl represents a good amount of money for him.

On defense Keith Rivers was bigger than listed and look very good. He measured a hair under 6'2" and 236lhbs. More than the 220lbs USC listed him at. Turns out he's not undersized. This helps his draft stock and it's possible he could now warrent a top 10 pick. Dan Connor came in at 6'2" 5/8 and 233lbs almost exactly how Penn State listed him. Ali Highsmith came in at 5'11" 5/8 229lbs. The lack of height hurts and he needs to add some weight. He looked athletic though. Beau Bell measured 6'1" 5/8 and 243 but looked soft and out of shape. That hurts him. He needs to trim up before the combine. If he doesn't teams will question his work ethic and desire. Xavier Adibi looked small and really needs to add to his 220lbs if he hopes to do anything in the NFL.

Sedrick Ellis weighed in at 308lbs and looked good at that weight. That will help him. USC listed him at 285. His draft stock is already quite high and this should only make it even brighter.

Charles Godfrey came in at 5'11" 3/4 and 207. He looked good too. He's shorter than advertised but is quite thick and strong. He's still quite raw but has huge upside. Tom Zbikowski came in exactly as advertised and looked cut and muscular just like you'd expect from the boxer..

Thanks jwaltz. Since I don't have the NFL Network I really hope everyone chimes in on their thoughts of who stood out (and didn't) from this weekend's game.

Shawn Crable is a guy I'm going to be watching closely. I don't think the Packers would get involved with Crable, since he projects to go somewhere between their first and second round picks, but at 6'5", 240+ pounds he has the prototypical size for a strong-side LB and posted huge numbers this past year at Michigan. I believe he also can serve as a rush end on passing downs, which may make him a better fit for a 3-4 team.

Owen Schmitt is a beast. I think he was at UW River Falls a year or two ago before transferring to WVU, and he's going to get a lot of love from the Senior Bowl announcers.

Yes, Schmitt was at UW-RF before transfering to West Virginia. He measured 6'1 3/4" and 247lbs. Very nice size for a fullback. He has some running ability and is a good blocker. I like him.

I'm a big Fred Davis fan. If we could snag him in round 2 I would love it.

The TE I really like is John Carlson. His illness should hurt his stock some seeing how he's been quite sick and has lost 20 pounds due to the illness. He will be a real steal for someone in the second or third round. He's a good receiver and a very good blocker. He can do it all. He's kind of like Heath Miller in that regard.

Owen Schmitt got hurt today in practice. I haven't seen any reports on what he hurt or how bad it is. Let's hope it's not too bad.

Keith Rivers continues to impress. Scott Wright described him as looking smooth in everything he does and mentions how good he looks in coverage. Rivers is helping his stock a ton this week. He's really impressing scouts and NFL people. The more I read about him an how hard he's working at the Senior Bowl, the more I like the guy. He's a high character, hard working kid. The type of player every team loves to have. Plus he's very athletic and very good.

Wright also mentioned Martin Rucker is working hard on his blocking and is improving every day. Sounds like Rucker is serious about becoming a complete TE. If he can improve his blocking enough he could be a darn good TE in the NFL.

Fred Davis is playing some fullback as well. This could cause some teams to consider him as an H-back. That could get some additional teams interested in him.

If we could snag Rucker or Davis in round 2 hopefully after drafting a CB in round 1 I would be in heaven.

Chad Henne is a player I have liked ever since his freshman year at Michigan. I know it's unlikely the Packers would take him, since he's probably not going to sneak past the middle part of round 2 (and possibly higher given the reports of how well he's been throwing the ball in practices this week), but I would not be disappointed if the Packers surprised everyone and took him. That may sound like a bad idea since the team doesn't know how long Favre is going to stick around and Rodgers obviously has been waiting patiently to get his chance, I just think Henne is going to have a solid NFL career.

I agree, I like Henne a lot. When he is healthy he showed in the Capitol One bowl he is very good. Big strong QB with a real nice arm. I at first heard he would be a 3rd or 4th round pick. But with all the people high on him after the bowl game and now senior bowl I don't see him getting past round 2.

I agree. What if Favre retires and Henne slips to the 3rd or 4th round? It's never a bad thing to have quarterbacks around to develop. I'd be surprised if the Packers don't draft a quarterback at some point, but I don't think they'll do so in the first 2 rounds.

If Henne slip to round 3 or 4 and Favre retires I would snag him. Doesn't hurt to have two good young QB's (Rodgers and Henne)

Henne and that Flacco QB both looked good from highlights I saw.

Scott Wright was raving about Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, a CB from Tennessee St., all week, and he made an extremely athletic interception yesterday. He has good height and speed, and really only lacks bulk. He's played a little safety I guess as well, and would make a pretty good pick for the Packers in the late first.

Cornerbacks always seem to rise (and fall) faster than any other players, and Rodgers-Cromartie might be a more likely pick for the Packers since both Aqib Talib and Leodis McKelvin are mentioned more and more among the top half of the first round.

Matt Forte, RB of Tulane and another one of my faves, also had a big game by reading Wright's write-up, watching the highlights and looking at the stats.

I have already seen Rodgers-Cromartie selected by the Packers in one mock, FWIW.

I'd rather go with a big school player early. This isn't a knock on the small schools I just think those players might take a little bit more time to develop and can be boom or bust type of players.

Few players lost more stock this week than Andre Woodson. His decision making looked questionable, his mechanics iffy, and his accuracy off. He looked terrible the whole week. The game was no different. He's some who would have been better off staying home. If he doesn't correct his mechanics by the combine he could see himself fall to the second round. Maybe even third. For a guy many felt would go in the mid first round this is quite a fall but he was that bad. Chad Henne and Joe Flacco, on the other hand, helped their draft stock. Coming in everyone knew Flacco would need time to develop but he caught on quickly and looked solid against competition far better than he has ever faced. His arm strength is the strongest in this draft. He's already being compared to Carson Palmer and Derek Anderson. That's some good names to be compared too. Henne looked pretty good all week. He looked thick and tough with a very strong arm. His decision making was good and overall he really helped his stock. Colt Brennan came in very thin. He needs to add 20 pounds or so to play QB in the NFL. That's quite a bit of weight for a naturally thin guy like him. He showed he's going to be a project at the next level but with nice upside. Off the field nobody was more impressive than Brennan. He's a natural leader of men and extremely charismatic. If playing doesn't work out for him he definitely has a future in public relations for some team or in radio.

After last week people are now talking about Sed Ellis as a top 5 pick. There are even debates on whether he's a better DT then Glen Dorsey. Ellis was that impressive. The whole week he looked like a man among boys. He was dominant and completely unblockable. OT's Chris Williams and Gosder Cherlius also helped themselves a bunch. Williams looked like a future stud LT the whole week. He probably pushed himself in to the first round. Cherlius played RT the whole week and looked very good there. He will most likely be a RT in the pros so playing the spot well here really helped scouts get a better idea of how good he can be.

I do like Woodson, but watching Kentucky this year he did have some flaws. I think he could still be a solid quarterback in the NFL, but he's not a guy I'd put in as the starter for at least a year or two.
