Yes, its so VERY wrong...

My expectations (in order of probability):
- First round pick: Trade Down, LB, OT
- 2-3rd round picks - WR, S, MLB (if not in the first), TE
- 4th round: G/C - TT rarely drafts a C directly, but someone who can play both. These always seem to come in the 4th round.
-5-7th: QB, NT, S (a second), TE

If Pryor or Clinton-Dix don't have first round grades, i don't like the idea of drafting them at #21 despite the glaring need. I'd rather draft a CB that they're high on and move Hyde to safety, or move back. Hopefully Clinton-Dix, Pryor, and Shazier are gone by #21 so a player with an actual first round grade falls to #21.

Khalil Mack is dropping to the 5-6 area and Mike Evans is shooting into the top 5 in a lot of places. I love draft-day hysteria! Oh, and Johnny Football is projected to be picked somewhere between number 1 and 300.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

I don't get why people obsess about "grades". It's been shown many times that teams don't really know what they're doing when it comes to the draft. Every year there are a bunch of 1st rounders who end up sucking. I think the most important thing is for a team to take the guy they want and not worry about whether he could theoretically be had a few picks later. Even Ted has not been that good when it comes to 1st rounders. Out of the 9 1st round picks he's made, he got 2 great players, 2 ok players, and 5 guys who seem to be injured/terrible. To be fair, 2 great players out of 9 might be considered pretty good, but the overall hit rate is not that high.

It's tough to look at grades once you get out of the top few players, because at that point, it's less about natural ability and more about fit. If we had all speedy ILBs, Shazier wouldn't make sense because he wouldn't add anything. As we sit with multiple plodding ILBs, a guy like Shazier could add a different dimension to the defense.

I think another more appropriate grading scale for 1st rounders would be to base it on the distance between the player drafted and the incumbent player at the position, sort of like a WAR type statistic. Bortles might be rated higher than Clinton-Dix, but the difference between Clinton-Dix and Sean Richardson compared to the difference between Bortles and Rodgers...obviously Ha-Ha would have a higher grade on the Packers scale.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

Ive always loved the draft. Just love the idea of newness and the hope of improving the team with a stud. It would even sometimes be my favorite part of madden games. Im so nervous and excited waiting, and I still cant imagine what the actual players are feeling. Especially watching the espn story on "the wait".

NFL Blitz has better referees.

The draft hasn't even started yet and it's already an unbearable puke circus.

This has been crazy. First 2 picks were as expected....then Bortles and a trade up for Buffalo to get Watkins. Fun, fun, fun stuff!

Browns are being smart! Strangely happy for them. They now have four first round picks in this year's and next year's drafts combined.

This. That was a crazy haul. Flip-flopping 1st rounders, and a 1st and 4th next year? Wow.

Mack 4th and Evans 7th. Pretty close!

I think the 4th was this year. That was a sweet trade for the Browns. It worked out for Buffalo, too, but Cleveland was smart enough to realize they're a few years away, and now they still have the 9th pick along with multiple first rounders for years. They can make a huge year-over-year jump over the next few.

I'm okay with Barr to the Vikings. Probably won't be a true impact player to game plan around.

Cleveland made a great trade and then traded back up to pick a CB? wat

And so far, I'm not upset at all with the NFC North rivals' picks.

Ebron scares me a little, unless we take someone that can cover him.
