Luck seems to fall into Elway's hands again. Broncos get C.J. Mosely ILB from Alabama. Elway has a cocktail afterwards.

The Seattle Seahawks won a Super Bowl with Packers' washout Breno Giacomini at RT.

The Seahawks select Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama.
('nuff said.)

We are over 24 hours, not sure where Travis is. Let's pick for the Texans via consensus unless he shows up.

They didn't take a QB in the first, so I vote Jimmy Garoppolo here. The Jaguars, Raiders, and Titans are all drafting in the next 10 picks and have a need at QB, so it's now or never to get their guy. Zach Mettenberger or Tom Savage would be options here as well.

Could also look at TE with Austin Seferian-Jenkins on the board, or a CB, but I'm not sure which one. RB Carlos Hyde would be a good replacement for the loss of Ben Tate too.

I think they will go best qb available here. Whoever that is.

NFL Blitz has better referees.

Sorry for the delay. I tend to agree they would go best QB available here, especially with a few available that wouldn't be considered a stretch. Savage has really shot up draft boards lately, forcing his way into the 2nd round in some cases, but I don't think that puts him ahead of Garoppolo yet.

To open the 2nd round, the Texans select Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois.

Will you have this left guard to be the 224th pick?

I feel like if this were a real draft, Washington should trade down to one of the teams still without a QB who is the most worried about not getting one that they would want. They did pick up some WRs in the offseason, so they can probably wait down the draft for a young guy to try and develop. Their defensive backfield is a mess as well, but since there is some talk that if Morgan Moses is here at 34, he wont be available anymore. Since he is, he is their pick. Morgan Moses OT

NFL Blitz has better referees.

The board plays out perfectly for the Browns, who will now select Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State. Ben Tate wasn't durable as a backup to Foster, so it's far from a guarantee that he'll make it through an entire season as the lead back and the rest of the backfield is lackluster. Tate & Hyde will allow them to go punch for punch with the other RB tandems in their division. Watkins, Carr and Hyde is about as good as you could hope for if you're Ray Farmer.

Raiders make a stretch with their QB of the future and select Zach Mettenberger of LSU. Reggie didn't want to risk him being taken before they select in the 3rd.

Falcons select: Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon St.

I looked at Dee Ford here, but he just seems too small for a 4-3. Demarcus Lawrence was an option too, but Crichton has potential as a pass rusher and to hold up against the run.

Buccaneers select: Allen Robinson, WR, Penn St.

The Bucs passed on Mike Evans in the first to take a QB, so they look hard at WR's here. That said, I have no idea how to differentiate the WRs in rounds 2-4. Every source has a wildly different ranking. Robinson seems decent though.

Since Mack fell to them in the 1st round, Jacksonville is really hoping for a decent QB to still be available in this spot. Then the stupid Raiders took Mettenberger, leaving only a few QBs that could be considered a stretch in this spot. But not to Jacksonville, who wanted this guy all along. Jags select A.J. McCarron, QB, Alabama.

Vikings on the clock, any suggestions?

If this is how the draft plays out, I'd love to see the Pack trade up with Jax/Min ahead of Buffalo to grab ASJ at TE.

It's the Vikings...can we pass?

EDIT: Looking at the board, I would say Borland, Hagemann, or Lamarcus Joyner (next best CB available)...and I'd really hate to see Borland go there.

I think if they're using a top-10 pick on a QB, they draft offensive line here. Xavier Su'a-Filo? He's versatile, and would be an immediate upgrade at several positions.

I think they try for some secondary help, so Joyner. Or maybe just some no name at the bottom of the draft board?

A lot of varying opinions on the Vikes, I was going to suggest Demarcus Lawrence.

I also think they'll target a CB early, so I can get on board with Joyner. That's three votes for him, let's ink it and move on.

With the 41st selection, the Buffalo Bills select Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois. The Titans are now on the clock.

Gotta fill the CJ2K void somehow. Titans select Tre Mason, RB, Auburn.
