I was looking into why both afc and nfc games were on the same days, because i dont remember this ever happening before, and i couldnt find anything except for an outdated answer from back when nbc had both Saturday games. Do they still have the networks pick game and timeslot? To me the best matchup is the pit/cinci game so that being the sunday night game makes sense, but i woukd have expected it to be on nbc or espn. And i cant think espn would have wanted what i would consider the worst matchup in the worst time slot.

Anyone know the answer?
