Is part of our WR problem that they have become too passive? Twice in the Raiders game, I saw a WR sit back and wait for the ball to get to him rather than go get the ball.

In both cases, the ball never got to the WR. Once was a deflection by the DB in front of Jones. The other was the INT in front of Janis.
- In Jones' case, he was waiting to body catch the ball. I know in the past, our WRs made it a point to catch with the hands, which allows the WR to be more aggressive and get the ball sooner. By waiting, the DB had a better window (of time and spacing) to break up the pass.
- In Janis' case, he just didn't go for it. He was there and someone jumped in front of him. He just let it happen. I think that was why Rodgers was so made about it. At a minimum, he should've tried to break up the pass.

It seems like the Packers just have a lack of speed at the skill positions on offense. The TEs and RBs are slower power guys. The WRs get no separation and the lack of ability to complete anything deep has compromised the offense all season. Doesn't it feel like defenses don't fear anyone on this team?

True. I've said that in other threads also. But I also see Rodgers hesitate to throw the ball in certain circumstances. And I wonder if part of it is because he doesn't trust the WRs to go get it like in the past.
