Do you guys frequent any other Packer forums that are decent? I belong to a couple of others but neither is my cup of tea. One is all homers and the other is all haters. I'm not sure which one aggravates me more. I would much rather have rational conversation and objective analysis.

The homers bug me because I think they're mostly in their teens. Not that there's anything wrong with teenagers; I was supposed to have been one once myself but it just didn't work out. Then one day a strong rain came and washed all the crops away. And at the age of 13 I felt like was carrying the weight of the whole world on my shoulders. So I told momma I was gonna quit school, but she said that was daddy's strictest rule. So I took a job in the tannery and had to walk there and back every day. Uphill both ways, with holes in my shoe. It wasn't that I had lost a shoe, you see, it was that I had found one. Why, I was the envy of the entire neighborhood because I was the only kid around that had a shoe AND a mitten. It was all fun and games until the hogs went wild and ate Jimmy. And that my friends is how you segue right from Clarence Carter to Abe Simpson, as well as why I find it hard to relate to teenagers.

The hater forum is even worse. Those people really drive me bonkers. They "love the Packers" but they complain nonstop about every player, every coach, everyone in the front office, the grounds crew, the cleaning lady, the cleaning lady's dog and the hotdog vendor. I'm convinced the posters there, if talking about tools, would say something like: "Yeah, I have this one hammer. I hate the head on that thing and the handle really sucks... but man, I love that hammer!" Wait... wha...? Buh de bah? Bwuuuh....?
